music column! I'm hoping to keep the people of Newport in touch with the
latest sounds from all over the world. Each week we will have a song and
artist of the week for you to check out.
Lady GaGa's 'Paparazzi' is the song of the week . Its a great, original tune. Following along the theme of her hit single 'Just Dance' but it is a bit slower with a good melody. MGMT have a very unique, interesting sound . I would also recommend that you listen to their song, 'Time to Pretend' . Many of their songs are featured in adverts and on sky sports as they have a catchy rhythm, alrigh, i'm off. peace out suckers who actually read that.

Lily Allen has an amazing talent for storytelling in her music. I Could Say is another stand out song from her latest album @It's Not Me, Its You'.
Kings of Leon are quite hip for a band of brothers from Nashville, Tennessee. Their music has power and passion. Sex on Fire, Use Somebody, they are finally setting the world alight.
